Electrical and Home Repair Expert
George grew up in upstate NY, spending his childhood exploring and building forts in the woods of the Adirondack mountains. Being a middle child in a family of 7 children, he learned that new things did not come often and grew accustomed to fixing old bikes and toys.
His first jobs were mowing lawns and baling hay in the summer. In his sophomore year of high school, he worked for a flooring company where he learned how to set tile & grout, carpet and install hard wood, laminate and vinyl flooring. In his junior year, he attended a vocational school and trained specifically in electrical. After moving to Vermont in his senior year he took a construction tech class where he learned the basics of carpentry.
After graduation, George joined an electrical firm, engaging in extensive commercial and industrial electrical projects, and completed his apprenticeship to obtain his journeyman license. Concurrently, he managed an apartment complex, collaborated with a plumber, and acquired fundamental plumbing and sheetrock repair skills.
In the late 2010s, George transitioned to a smaller electrical company, gaining experience in residential and agricultural electrical work, conducting service upgrades, wiring heat pumps, and operating VFDs for barn fans. From 2020 to 2024, George served as a facility maintenance technician at Walmart, where he refined his abilities by learning to operate and maintain various equipment, including compactors, forklifts, bread ovens, fryers, floor scrubbers, and other machinery essential for the upkeep and operation of a Walmart store.
